Setting the right targets helps you to keep a handle on growth and benchmark success
Many companies don’t set growth targets in detail. They have nebulous ideas about what their goals are, but nothing tangible to communicate to the management team. We will translate ideas into actions, but taking those goals and creating a vision. This will include a Growth Strategy which contains the targets set for staff benchmarking.
When staff know performance expected, they have clear and understandable measures by which to work. This performance feeds the company performance measures that inform the Key Performance Indicators. Most businesses cannot tell you in detail what last month’s performance was for each contract compared with previous months. This is important as it is an early indicator of problems and blockages, resulting in lost time and or sales.
